Product Description

Montauk Point Lighthouse, Long Island, NY

Original Artwork by Michael Combs

Montauk Point Lighthouse was commissioned by then President George Washington in 1792. It was placed into operation in 1792 and was automated in 1987. It was the first public works project of the United States of America, and is the oldest Lighthouse in New York.

This Original Artwork uses pastels and captures much of the detail of the building including the siding on the station and metal work on the lighthouse tower.

This 5"X7" piece of art is printed individually on high quality glossy photo paper in a process that is overseen by Michael personally to assure that the color and quality meets his own artistic standards. It is hand signed, then mounted in an 8”X10” matte that can then be framed and proudly displayed. (Note: Matte Color may not match the photo displayed). The title of the piece is hand written on the matte with a fine point pen giving it a personal touch that is perfect for giving or keeping for a lifetime.
